Sharing the beauty in life...

I love standing on the side of a mountain... feeling the wind begin to blow all around me and realizing I can smell the rain coming. This little painting was inspired by a visit to my sister's place in Rocky Gap. The sun was going down touching some of the mountain tops with a lovely warm pink but big heavy rain clouds were blowing in. It makes me think of how sometimes, the things that look scary to us are actually blessings in disguise and if we'll just wait- let the cold rain come and soak in deep to the roots - good, strong things can grow.
