Sharing the beauty in life...

My time to paint has been broken into smaller chunks lately so I've challenged myself to complete smaller works. Since there is an upcoming show I'll be participating in soon which requires smaller works this helps me to get prepared for that. I love discovering beautiful old roads like this and following to see where they end up. Its surprising sometimes how they're connected to places you already know. I enjoyed working with all the warm colors and trying to depict the golden light and varied textures in this piece as I imagined where the path would lead.
